Tamar Katz (b. 1989) is a video and performance artist. Katz’s work focuses on situations where intimacy, violence and objectification of the body intersect. Her work shifts from experimental film to camera-mediated performance, staged dance, participatory and new-media based performance. Through the act of performing, acting and playing Katz investigates the potential of new forms of intimacy and the politics of the relations.
